Hi all,
Replacing ceiling in downstairs dining room which is lath and plaster. Have removed all the plaster but left with long sticks of wood(do not know what its called mane noggins). They are nailed to the bottom of joists. Do i leave them in situ and plasterboard over it or remove them.
Search says they bring stability to upstairs floor. Is this correct or no need for them. The joists are 9x2.
Thanks.
