Hi there, i wonder if you could help me. I want to lay a concrete base for a shed measuring 14 x 8. i was going to lay some hardcore down and then concrete over the top, can anyone advise how the concreting should be done, i.e. concrete mix and depth would be a great help.
Cheers

You have the right idea laying compacted hardcore first for a proper job.

You want it 4 inches minimum thickness.

Its over a cube of concrete so it will be more cost effective to have it delivered readymix. If your not wanting to trowel it smooth anything will do really. C20 would be fine.

The concrete supplier can advise of the best mix for you
