I have a large concrete base ( was floor to old double garage) If i lay slabs over this am i best putting down wet mix or lay on sharp sand/cement dry base. Will it be ok to lay on a solid base like this rather than compacted hardcore? ( really don't want to dig it up)

as above but also good idea to put a slurry of sbr to under side of stone
just dont spot bed them
