i recently had a new plastic main put into my house, the plumber only capped off the old lead pipe inside my house. i wish to cap the lead pipe off underground outside the house. how is this done? is it compression jointed or does it need soldering? thanks geoff

Lead-loc is a compression fitting for lead pipe.The plumber properly use a stop end compression.
