my father has a cast iron bath which he is going to get re enamelled,its quite old and has a lead waste pipe and drain assembly which is leaking from a join,its not practical to change the lead waste pipe so i am wondering is it possible to use a modern compression type pvc trap to mate the 2 up,the lead waste looks to be around the 40mm mark,any ideas please?
