Following the heavy rain lately I have found there is leak from the corner of a window. It is around the circled area in the photo. There is a small paddle on the window sill. I checked the drain hole on the frame and it seems clear. Any advice on how the water came in? Many thanks

You can see the drain slot in the opening side so I assume its that one you've tested? There will also be 2 more under the fixed side too but you'll need to pop the unit out to check, they can sometimes be obstructed by the glazing packers, so the water could be seeping out through the mitre joint of the beads. Another possibility is the frame section is holding water and its leaking out through a small crack in that reverse butt weld you've circled
