I've just installed a new bathroom and have a problem with the basin waste gubbins.
I have a mixer tap on the basin with one of those levers that you pull/push a level behind the tap to open/close the plug.
The problem is that it leaks from where the horizontal rod connects into the waste, arrowed in the photo below
The taps didn't come with any instructions or 'O' rings (that I think might be whats missing), and I've not got any bits left over.
Is this a common problem? Is they a solution to stop it leaking, and what would it be? The 'O' ring in front of the ball joint?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ian
