During the recent wet weather I have been getting damp patches in a window reveal. I don’t know whether the leak is coming from a badly sealed window or because the coping stones above have allowed water into the wall itself. Today it has actually stated to drip. Any advice would be much appreciated.

How close are those frames to the outer leaf brickwork?

Probably about 70mm

Phew!

Have you noticed any pattern? Is it just wind driven rain?

Take a look at the seals and see if they are OK, otherwise have a look for any small cracks in the render that could accumulate.

It should really have weepholes if the render is returned back onto the window frame at the head - as per the NHBC.

Tends to be whenever we get anything more than light rain. The wall above is a parapet with coping stones. Can’t work out of it’s the window sealant or water ingress through the wall above.
