Hi,
I have a salamder 3.3bar right pump.
I bought independently on the net, got it fitted by a plumber, recently i have noticed that when i use the pump it leaks, sometimes heavily, on both sides. Cannot get original plumber that fitted the pump.

Any1 have any ideas how i can tighhten the bolts on either side (hot and cold)?

Cheers,
Aimée

Hmm was it new or used? When you say leaks can you tell on what 2 pipework? There is four. Could be cross threaded or tightened too hard, new pump i would say.

They DO leak if they're wrongly installed. So it could have had bad treatment before you got it, ot it could be your installation. The seals are available though.

Hi,
The pump was new bought from pump wize, the problem is i bought it but didn't install it till over a year later.

The leak actually comes from the cylinder chamber on each end of the pump directly behind the 6 bolts. not on the actual pipes.

if you can get seals where from?

cheers

Hello all, I have a HP100 3bar Salamander pump installed about 5 years ago and have had good showers but have recently started to leak from one end sometimes quite a lot whereby the water seeps through the ceiling to downstairs.
I have rung Salamander to day and they are sending me some replacment rings to start with to see if this sorts the problem in the first instance.

Will up date here, once i fit new rings and has worked for a week to be sure. :!:
