Hi all,

I have a Worcester 28i combi and after replacing an upstairs radiator and bleeding the system the unit leaks when the power to the boiler is turned off!?! It appears to work fine once the system is on with no leak.

After taking the front cover off it appears that the leak is coming from inside the sealed unit itself. The water coming from the unit measures a pint or so and the dripping does eventually tail off to nothing if left for around half an hour but it does happen each time I power off the boiler at the mains.

Would anyone know what the problem might be?

Very much appreciated

Paul

check the auto air vent on the heat exchanger isn't leaking

edit it's inside the combustion chamber and you shouldn't really be in there

Thanks Kev,

I have had a chat with the installation engineer and he is coming tomorrow and does think the same thing. Would you expect this to take a long time to fit and a ballpark price would be good ;)

THanks again,

Paul
