Leaking filling loop

Sounds like it. If you have bought a new filling loop, you will have either a check valve or another isolating tap. If you turn off the flow and return to the boiler, let it drain through the hose, replace the check valve, fit the new loop and refill the boiler.

Sorted.

Let it drain then replaced it all. All good so far

have a basin underneath and loosen slowly.

and shield that electric socket with something ( a bin liner for example ) in case the water jets out as you loosen the joints.
