New to this forum, and new to plumbing, so bare with me :)

Came back from xmas hols to discover a leak under the kitchen sink. Looks like the flexible cold water pipe from the 'mains' copper pipe to the mixer tap is leaking. Find this really strange as my kitchen isn't very old (about 2 years).

The weather was below freezing a couple of times when I was away, but the heating was on, so it can't be a frozen pipe problem I don't think.

Looks like I'll have to replace the pipe, which means undoing a bloody awkward mixer tap, ho hum

Has anyone had a similar experience?, any tips?

You please yourself - I never plumb naked cos of hot solder.

You can usually buy replacement flexis to fit into monoblock mixers. Most use a 10mm or so male thread on the tap end, 15mm compression onto the supply pipe.
Might just need tightening - there's an O ring seal at the tap end.
