I’ve got a problem with a Showerforce thermostatic shower control valve. There’s something clearly broken with it as when I turn the control knob I can feel it sticking and jumping. When you try and turn the shower off it won’t always fully close and drips. I have to keep turning the shower on and off again until it closes and stops completely. Sometimes when the central heating is on it makes the shower drip as well. We’ve got a hot water cylinder and the shower is closest to it so I presume the slight increase in hot water pressure makes the shower valve leak as well.

I’ve taken the plate off as per the pictures. I can see the hot and cold water feeds so should be able to isolate them. The problem is I have no idea what model the shower is or what parts I need to replace. Can I replace something inside the control knob or does the whole unit need replacing?
