Help! A slow leak has appeared on the underside of the toilet waste pipe. Leak seems to be coming from a crack in old sealant. Can anyone advise a fix? Anyone know the name/type of the white sealant that has been used here? Hoping I can go over the old sealant with some new stuff. Never had a problem with the waste pipe in 9 years since I've been here. Thanks in advance. Nige

Looks like someone has put the sealant on to stop the leak. The flexible pipe has a section that goes inside the outside pipe and that is where it should seal. The inside section has rubber fins on it which seal against the inside of the outer pipe.
