leaking towel rail - what are my options

Hi everyone.

I just got my towel rail back from being powder coated and I've realized its leaking from a weld/brazing on the top corner, its a very small leak. I really don't want to go and scrap the towel rail after all this effort, is there anything else I can do to stop the leak?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

A pity that you didnt notice the leak before you had it powdercoated and as you say would be a shame to scrap it now, you could try using this

Personnally I never use the stuff but have seen it on jobs and it does sometimes work, you havent really anything to lose as its under a fiver

Are you 100% sure it's not coming from the nut?

Yeah XR, I thought it was the nut at first so I kept nipping it up to stop the leak but then I had a closer look and noticed it was coming from the rad boss itself.

Thanks Ian I will have a look for some of that stuff at homebase after work tomorrow and give it a try. cheers
