havent we got any appliance experts in the house?

When DOES it leak? When the drum is turning? Or spinning? When it's pumping out? Or filling?

Set it off empty on a rinse cycle then, when the water reaches as high as it gets in the drum, switch it off. Dry up any water that has already leaked then just leave it. If it leaks again, the problem lies below the water level. If not then it's above. :) :) :)
