First find out where the leak is coming from.
Change the do-nut.
It could be the do nut needs changing, sometimes, loosen the two nuts holding the pan and cistern together and re tighten evenly.
With people, especially kids leaning back on the cistern, it can deform the doughnut ( ring between the pan and cistern)
Or is it leaking from somewhere else ?

Yes, donut. Ours was leaking from that..when I got a plumber in to sort it, we realised the PO who fitted it all had somehow messed the installation up. Either he set the pan in the concrete accidentally, or he did the plumbing before fitting the cistern, but he'd canted the tank over to the left to line up the inlet to his piping, so the whole thing was barely hanging together. Lots of silicone.
We ended up having to redo the plumbing with a flexi, in order to remount the cistern centrally with a new donut..no problems since.
