Length of gas pipe for boiler in loft??

I saw a Keston 40 kW boiler fitted to a three bed terrace today !!!

The builder fitting it had forgotten to include an expansion vessel!!!

A helpful plumber had bled the rads and started the problems.

chances are that a 30 kw output is far more than what you need, how did you get to this size?

I got the 30kW requirement from a quote.
Think I'll give Bosch Gp a call ref the F&E cistern for the 30CDi.
