Level Access Shoer Tray Former

Is it possible to stand on a shower tray former, Marmox or Abacus, to continue work on the surrounding walls or should this be avoided? Can I lay a protective plywood over the top maybe?

If it fitted properly then standing on it should be fine, you will be standing on it when you're showering, albeit with tile/covering on it. If you have something to cover it though and keep it unmarked then why not.

I have infilled the joists and plan to prime the plywood before using adhesive to stick down the tray, hopefully I can show in a picture....
