LG freezer doorseal not sealing

LG fridge/freezer model GR 282BD
The seal on the freezer door will not adhere to the door, causing overfreezing. Have bought two seals now and none seem to work.
What am I doing wrong?

my sugestion would be

if the freezer isn't fully suported on all of its feet it can twist causing an uneven surface for the door to sit on
or indeed the the door its self may be twisted!!!!!

make shure the door is a uniform distance from the cabinate along one edge [seal not unevenly compressed]then check the other edge !!!!!

if the distance is uneven you need to adjust one or more corners up or down to even up the gap and level up the freezer

also worth checking the hinge points are level tight and without any play

also remove any ice build up that may effect the proper operation of the doors and seals
