Hi all,
I've got a poorly LG WM-1280FHD.
Basically, it fits and starts when trying to rotate and makes a sort of metallic 'hissing' sound from the motor.
There is no adverse sound when rotating the drum manually and it seems perfectly smooth.
After about 6-7 minutes it gives up and displays the fault code 'LE'.
Can anyone give me a couple of pointers as to what to check ?
I initially thought bearings but like I say it's smooth when rotated manually and it's had a very easy life since I bought it four years ago (1 or 2 loads per week max).
I'm now thinking perhaps motor or PCB but is there any way I can check ?
Thanks in advance.....
