Siemens Washing Machine Noisy In One Drum Direction Only

I have a Siemens washing machine. When on the fill and wash cycle there is what I would guess to be loud motor noise in one direction but perfectly OK in the other direction. Drum rotates when empty perfectly and with no noise. Any ideas of problem would be greatly appreciated.

Drum noisy when rotating clockwise but very quiet when rotating anti clockwise.

Noise is like a groaning noise. Not clicking or scraping noise that would indicate trapped object.

well.. either the suspension is worn or the bushes.

get a price for each parts depending on your make and model from ebay.

Fitting new bushes can be a difficult job though!
and usually it's not worth it when you can buy a 2nd hand washer for £50
