Hello
I am planning for an extension later on the year. Some plants will need lifting out of the way. Ideally I would like to return them afterwards.
Each plant is part of a hedge. They are pruned to approx 1.5m high.
What normally happens? I was thinking of asking the builder to lift each plant in a full digger bucket. This should leave plenty of root ball. The plants could be kept in large builders buckets until ready to be re planted.
What do you think? Likely to succeed and worth the effort? What is normally done with plants adjacent to an excavation?
Thanks
