During recent renovations, I removed some cement based render that had been applied where lime plaster once was, the usual metre high.
Anyway the nasty cement based render is off and the water leak fixed and hence no more damp.
What would be the best modern easy fix to plaster the wall with before a skim of finishing plaster.
I'm happy to use modern gypsum based products.
Would Thistle hardwall plaster be OK, rather than say bonding plaster?
I have about 6 square metres to do.
