I have had great help from this cite before and I must thank all that have helped me before. I would have thanked them personally after I resolved my last issue, however I had my laptop stolen with references short cutted to the desktop.

I now have another problem with my linea 24 boiler. with no error to start with the water heats to about 22% and then the flames cut out. after looking at it this morning. I now have discovered and error 2 reading.

SYSTEM OVER HEATED NEED TO WAIT 15 MINS TO COOL DOWN. THEN RESET.

Why would it overheat. central heating is still off. though it was on for a couple of hours on Sunday. now Tuesday.

I noticed a little popping, or quiet tapping sound this morning, like a air lock. Is this possible?

I was thinking this is why it's over heating. can I resolve it? Though the pressure is good between 2 and 3 bars.

I appreciate any help..

I left it 15 mins, reset, but water started at 27% then dropped to 22 while the burners were on. there was some banging noises from near the top, possibly the main water heater thingy.

the burners cut out. and just before it starts up again the pressure out of the tap drops...

On the last problem I had, worked out all on me own that I needed to change the thermostats. £22 and 30 mins I solved it. That was last months problem.

I have just done that test of putting tthecentral heating on. brilliant. works wonders upto about 84%. but turn the hot tap on and this is still reading 22% and the the flames go out. I played with the diverter valve by pushing it in. it comes out again once the tap is switched off. is there another valve that may be stuck. can I find it and what does it look like?
