load bearing wall or not

can any1 advise iwant to take down my living room wall how do i check if its a load bearing wall coz if it is i will need a lintel the length of my house which i dont really fancy

If you mean the walls which seperates your front and back rooms then I'd say 99% yes, is there another wall above it? Do your ceiling joists run into it or parallel to it?
