I have installed 7 x 50 w/12v lights with dimmable transformers and a 20 watt ceiling mounted extractor fan with a 12v/ 35 watt dimmable lamp all working off the same circuit. I would like to fit a dimmable pull switch but the ones that I have seen have a minimum/maximum load of 50 - 250 watts. Could anyone please advise if one of these would be suitable and if not what are the options to my dilemma.

Many thanks

change the lamps

your fan wont work either, but you can get a pull cord dimmer that has a 3rd terminal for a fan

Thank you. Just checked Screwfix catalogue but their dimmer pull switch does not have a third terminal. Do you know where I can get such a switch?

Sue

Thats if you have wired the fan back to the switch of course rather than looped off the lights
