Locking mechanism in Warped composite door (Ed.)

Hi Guys,

Recently my gearbox within my composite door broke. I broke the euro cylinder to get to the mechanism as instructed. I could not move the locking mechanism and eventually resorted to forcing the handle down. This sheered a loose piece of metal out of the gearbox but at least I could open the door and then remove the strip and gearbox. I then ordered a new strip and gearbox set. There were a few dramas fitting it and some customisation, but it generally went well.

Now, doing the finishing touches, I notice the top latch is making a lot of contact and is out of line with the rest of the door. When pushing the top corner against the frame, the door locks smoothly.

Do you have any ideas on how to correct this warping? Timber and clamping? Some other genius move? Could it be a hinge somehow?

Warping is normally shown with a long level up the entirety of the door slab , as it show the full extent , but even there that's showing quite a warp. Can you adjust thre locking point ' keep ' on the frame, at that point , to take up the bow? Usually an allen key adjustment or Phillips screwdriver.
Unbelievably some comp door manufacturers say a deflection of 6mm on the bow is deemed acceptable.. to me that's unreasonable. A good way to lower the risk ofb bowing of doors is to always engage the locking points ( usually by pulling the handle up ) , everytime you use the door. This keeps top, middle and bottom fairly stable
