Hi All,

First post in the plastering section. I have been doing a central heating install and a loft conversion for most of the year. I am now at the point I have insulated and have a floor. The next step is to dry line before getting a local plaster.

The roof is constructed of 4x2 with approx. 30cm between each. I have insulated between using celotex with an air gap between at the rear, then used foil tape to seal. See photo.

Before I dry line a few questions:
Should there be an air gap between the insulation and board (how big)
What is the best thickness of board to use
as it will be fixed to wood what should I use to fill gaps/joints between boards.

Many thanks

Mark
