Last year i helped a mate put loft roll in his loft. We then laid loft flooring to use it as storage. His missus has now said that we need to sort it as things that are stored up there get mould on them. Is this a ventilation problem? My mate thinks the answer is to put insulation at rafter level - i think the answer is to better ventilate the area - he says there is plenty of ventilation!

can anyone advise??....i can't remember if there is any membrane/felt between existing tiles and rafters - if this makes a difference i will need to find out.
