My daughter lives in a large 1930's 3 bed semi with a loft conversion with en suite room that currently houses the boiler, cylinder and water tank. Main bathroom is very dated but before I tackle that the above job needs doing as they only have the toilet in the main bathroom. Plan is to do the loft en suite, toilet, basin and shower. But the boiler etc needs moving first. Only location it can go is in the cellar which is fairly dry and has access to an outside wall.
The water pressure is imo poor but I will get that tested and there is a large bore gas pipe in the cellar.
Before we get any quotes in which would be the best kind of set up for this application. There will be 12 radiators 2 bathrooms with showers( thermostatic valves).
Not a fan of combi boilers as everyone I know who has them seem to have problems but open to ideas. Tia.
