Moving hot water cylinder in to loft

We are in process of moving house, and want to remove the existing hot water cylinder & airing cupboard in the new house to increase the size of the small bedroom. Looks like an indirect cylinder, with cold water feed & expansion tanks on a wooden platform in loft space above. Gas boiler is in garage - not sure how old the boiler is. There is also a water pump next to cylinder for the showers (i think). House has main bathroom with shower above bath, and en-suite with bath & separate shower cubicle.

Which of the following is better (& cheaper):
1. move existing hot water cylinder into loft space. this means the feed & expansion tanks will not be much higher than the cylinder - does this matter?
2. put a new unvented hot water cylinder in loft space
3. change to new combi boiler & get rid of tanks all together

Any advice appreciated...

Option 4, an unvented cylinder in the garage, do away with the pump and storage tank.

Must have a good water supply though.

If you have 1.5 bar mains and a 4 bar pump at the mo, you'd feel cheated with a mains pressure cylinder so it depends....
