Hi, i've just put in a new bathroom suite. Because the oridginal loo was further forward then the new one i've tried to move it back as far as possible. i've used a flexible connector from B&Q, which although looks like a good connection, seems to leave a damp patch around the floor boards. I can only assume it is comming from the outlet on the loo. How should i seal this connection, silicon? Plumbers mate, or is this a possible inferior pipe? i've enclosed a pic.

This would be better,

Flexible thin plastic pipe on a toilet :? I always been told the internal pipe should always be smooth so it doesn't catch the toilet paper etc.

i thought it was one of those pipes you have for an extractor fan

yea, its looks a bit better in the flesh! These flexible pipes are being sold in B&Q, and all plumb shops now. As ive said, they are great for putting the loo where you want it to go. End of the day, the problem is the seal to the loo which looked the same as the normal plastic 90's!
