Looking for advice on the best fixing of a 2x1 wooden baton onto a dot&dab wall with concrete block behind.

Appreciating the need to execute into the brickwork behind the plasterboard…can anyone recommend the best fixing to use?

Long enough screws, probably 70mm, and Rawl plugs. Drill through baton into block work then push in Rawl plug and tap home with the screw.

That's a fairly standard framing job - Brown rawl plugs and 5x80 screws.
It's a lot easier with 2 drills; one with a masonry bit in for drilling through, and one with the Pozi 2 bit in for the screwing
