if you add a thermal store you can link your heating, stove and hot water into one and have mains pressure hot water via a separate heat exchanger it works well,
but I think villager and Dudley do good ones as well

Hello there
I had another thread going https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/...d-open-fire-wanted.478849/page-2#post-3861527
I have not been able to find a back boiler and have given up on the idea

But now I am considering the idea of buying a log burner soly designed for boiling water and wondered if anyone knows of such a thing?

Thanks
AHC
Have you tried Google? We can suggest lots of boiler stoves but only you know what style and output you need... Clearview make some good stoves with 2kW water heaters.... Are you in a smokeless zone?

I'm going to look at a guys morso squirrel tomorrow. Been fitted with its second boiler and that's failed also after just 7 years.
I was googling for the manual with no luck but now you have just posted it. :D
If the boiler has failed twice, I would be taking a close look at its back end protection

Its on gravity. So self protecting.
Mebbe the poc's have eaten it away from the outside?
Mebbe poor quality stainless?
Or it just becomes more brittle with the constant heating up and cooling and cracks.
