Hi

Potterton Lynx 2 losing pressure.

My thoughts are: - a leak in the system
- Pressure vessel not charged
-possibly water passing through the filling loop and then increasing system pressure activating PRV.

I realise filling loop should be disconnected.

Not too experienced with boilers, but have some knowledge of them.

Any advice appreciated. Plus also does anybody know of a rule of thumb for the pressure of the expansion vessel.ie how much pressure?

Thanks
Jd

does the pressure go up during operation? does the pressure relief pipe drip

if not it aint your expansion vessel

Yes pressure goes up and prv drips.

ANY IDEA WHAT PRESSURE THE VESSEL SHOULD BE SET AT?
