So there is lots of condensation in the loft. I can see droplets on the underside of the roof. The roof is constructed of slate with felt underneath (circa 1920).
The loft hatch is insulated. The floor of the loft has wool insulation and the middle portion is boarded.
So I assume the condensation is caused by rising warmth - so what is my best plan of action?
1) Check the eaves are not covered and if they are to pull back the insulation?
2) I have a large roll of aluminium foil - should I place that over the half of the loft that has been boarded as well as over the other half that is just insulation wool to relfect the heat back into the house - or will that worsen the problem?
