I was rudely woken this morning with a loud and violent bang that kept happening every few minutes. I am used to the central heating pipes making a noise when the heating kicks in but this was a quick sharp bang. It sounded like a circuit breaker going off.
I traced the noise to the ensuit wall which houses the main pipe runs from the loft to the rest if the house as shown in the photo.
Install is a few years old now and never had this before.
The bang is sever enough to vibrate the toothbrush sat on the basin fixed to the wall and connected to the pipe runs.
Is this just trapped air and how do I try and resolve?
