Low Pressure from Hot tank

I have an immersion heater fed by a storage tank in the same cupboard. Cold water from this tank flows at an adequate pressure, however hot water from the immersion heater flows extremely slowly at times, especially when the water is very hot.

Can anyone suggest a remedy?
