Hi everyone,

I have got no central heating at the moment. Hot water is fine. The pressure slipped under 0.5bar and the low pressure light switched on. I have re-pressurised to 1bar but the low pressure light is still lit and hence the boiler does not heat the radiators. Does the water pressure switch need resetting somehow or is it likely to be broken? The boiler is an Ideal Response combi.

I encountered this problem once before - about 8 months ago whilst replacing a radiator. Exactly the same problem. It then went away of it's own accord after I emptied the replaced radiator to fix a slight leak and re-pressurised/filled system again. Advice welcomed!

Thanks in advance.
