I want to install central heating but have a problem, we are installing a woodburner which will heat the central heating, our water comes from a borehole and the pressure is terrible (it only just comes out of the sink mixer tap) so we need to put the expansion tank in the loft but how can I get the water up there, I have looked at the different pumps but I am now more confused than ever, a neighbour has fitted central heating with a 2 pumps and when the tank is full and the ballcock cuts off the water it then runs back down the supply pipe and he then gets air in the pipe!! any suggestions/help greatly appreciated.
