Hi im currently replacing my bathroom and the cold feed to the shower is mains but the hot is tank fed from cylinder on open vented system. Have gone from 15mm to 22mm on the hot but the pressure is just to low for the shower so am thinking of fitting a pump on the hot after the cylinder and wondered if there are any recommendations on which pump to go for? Pump would go right next to cylinder next to the bathroom.

Thanks alot in advance.

If you go and search on this forum you will find countless installs where unbalanced supplies have been used and they cause no end of problems, especially with pumps. It really isn't recommended and you will never find a pump manual where it recommends mains cold and a gravity pumped hot. it can be done but you really need to match the hot to the cold for pressure and flow to ensure either no issues at the pump end or mixing problems and temp control issues @ the shower end. This then usually needs pressure reducing valves and flow restrictors

If you can you want to run a twin impeller with hot and cold fed from the Cold water cistern.
