Low profile shower trays

I have to replace a shower tray that has quiet a high profile. Are low profile trays ok to fit as a replacement. I think they have bigger wastes 90mm instead of the 40/50mm one in the tray that's in.

Yes, generally no problem, the waste pipe should be 40mm either way.
