Bus takes two hours to travel three miles through congestion fuelled by new LTN
One half-an-hour bus journey took four times as long near the LTN

Who’d have thought it was a bad idea….![]()

Do you mean it's now impossible to park beside the Lidl?Around here B'ham enormous flower pots are appearing which completely block one end of a road. They leave space for a push bike maybe motor types too. They don't cost much.
Kings Heath - wow. Even reducing road access to a Lidl car park by road blocking. Some shops including a furniture one, get there by car even on unbusy streets - forget it. Traffic being forced on one of our worst arterial roads. Fact is things were not that good before this was done. That needs to be considered and this particular area is a bit extreme, There is some car parking but as usual it can be full.
No they have their own car park, pretty big one. A side road did run right past the entrance but one end has been blocked which means the only way into it is the main arterial road that runs right through Kings Heath centre which often gets very busy. It took so long when we used it I thought never again. I use one at the Maypole or the one in RedditchDo you mean it's now impossible to park beside the Lidl?
Just some roadworks, is all.Sounds like the problem is the low traffic thing is not working if there is too much traffic?

In the area I live in I'm not sure why they have added these huge flower pots to a few roads. If loads of people were using them for shot cuts I'd understand but they didn't. I'd say the impact on the traffic on more used roads is marginal. Maybe usage was building up. Kings Heath for some reason has been messing with traffic flow for years. Some ok some people would wonder about.Sounds like the problem is the low traffic thing is not working if there is too much traffic?
