Is it OK to control a set of low voltage halogen downlights (1 transformer) and 2 mains downlights from the same switch. I plan to connect the low voltage to the existing wires - where the ceiling rose is - if OK is it best to wire the mains halogens into the same connectors as the low voltage transformer? Or wire them through the switch?

Cheers

Cannot see any reason why not. The mains input to the transformer is considered as mains into a lamp fitting to all intents and purposes.
