low water pressure

Hi

a lady has complained of low water pressure at the hot wat tap ive been round she is right the cold water pressure is low aswell this is obviuosly having an effect on the hot water from the boiler would a pump help this problem.

any help would be appreciated.
 
When you say 'this is obviuosly having an effect on the hot water from the boiler', I am reading between the lines and guessing it's a combi.

If this is the case, then you can't pump directly from mains water.

Didn't they explain that on your course? :wink:

Is the cold water supply from the mains or some private arrangement? Challenge the supplier if you are paying for the service - the water should come in at an adequate pressure for your appliances. Look here for advice about pumping your supply - www.richter.co.uk
 
Oi! The Cat! what are you a clown? set up a Plumbing company and then charge people to solve basic problems and then realise you know nowt and come on here and ask us? what about all of the decent plumbers work you are taking by not having a clue what you are doing?
