We have problems with low water pressure when flushing our toilet (ideal standard split flush). Taps/shower are fine normally but when you flush the toilet the taps etc lose pressure

When you say problems?

Pan doesn't clear?
Cistern takes too long to refill?
Not enough water when flushed?

It does flush eventually but you have to hold the flush down for ages sometimes

Sounds like a faulty flush mechanism - flush body failing lift/stay up when flushed.

Can you post photo of flush mechanism?

You've edited your original post and changed the problem!

It sounds like poor flow rate and a slow filling cistern.

If its always been like this then it may be poor pipework or incorrect valves (restricting the flow) or low mains supply pressure/flow (depending on if you are tank or mains fed).

If any valves have been operated recently and the problem arose after this then it may be that a valve is partially closed.

Either way a bit more info from your side might help to identify the problem.

Is the bathroom fed from mains or tank?
Is the problem recent or long term?
Has anything else changed recently?
