Lowline gaskets or not ?

We've been shopping around for a supply only window supplier and have had conflicting advice over lowline window gaskets.

Some people seem to think they are the best thing since sliced bread, others say they are detrimental to the window seal and the "normal" seals are better.

The wife wants low level seals as she's convinced the normal black (or silver) seal causes black streaks on the upvc.

Any help or advice ?

As long as its a decent manufacturer then the less gasket on show the better. www.theplasticsdepot.co.uk sell the advanced 70 system with a really nice gasket.
