Magimix food processor spindle won't turn

Hi,

We have a Magimix 3100 food processor with a spindle that won't turn. There is a humming noise when I try to start the processing but the spindle won't move. I tried the pencil test and the spindle still won't move. I also cannot move the spindle by hand with the electricity off and the safety mechanism pressed so something must be stuck somewhere?

Anyone have any idea what part could be causing the problem please?
