Bosch Maxx Drum won't spin

Bosch Maxx drum won't spin. It's not an electrical issue. It won't spin by hand and I've pulled the back plate off, taken the belt off and tried to turn it by hand from the back and only had the slightest movement. When the machine is running I can hear the motor trying to make the drum spin but it seems like something has ceased or possibly a bearing has broken.

Any suggestions on common problems that cause this? And is it possible to repair?
